Volunteering
Each meet requires the help of many parent volunteers. Please sign up for volunteer jobs when declaring for the swim meets. Below is a description of each job:
| Timers | Are paired with someone from the other team to record swim times. Will only serve half the meet. It's a great way to be up close to the action! |
| Runner | Runs Time sheets and DQ slips from the pool to the scoring table. (only during home meets) May also bring water to those serving around the pool. |
| Starter | Starter acts as meet emcee. They control the pace of the meet. The starter should have served as a Stroke and Turn judge for 2 years prior. |
| Referee | Reviews and approves all DQ slips and serves as a resource should there be a discrepancy. Must have served as a Stroke and Turn judge for 2 years prior. |
| Scorer | Records times at the scoring table and enters DQ slips. |
| Stroke and Turn Judge | Must attend a Stroke and Turn Clinic. Judges will observe and note and incorrect stroke by a swimmer. |
| Food Sales | Sell food and drink; handle cash and Venmo transactions. |
| Hospitality | Bring bottled water around to volunteers. |
